I'm a freelance journalist with more than seven years experience across both print and online.
I spent six years writing features for The Sunday Mirror and have also written for The Daily Mirror, The Sunday People, The New Day, The Debrief, VICE, Refinery29, CityAM and The Erotic Review, among others.
I specialise in real life and human interest features with a particular interest in sex and gender politics, sexual identities and behaviours, relationships, education, reproductive health and human rights. I blog on these subjects at Francesca Da Rimini.
During my time at The Sunday Mirror, I also ran the Mirror Book Club which involved engaging directly with our members, writing and editing book reviews, organising and commissioning related content, liaising with publishers and authors and managing the associated social media.
I am proficient in Photoshop, have basic HTML and SEO and am experienced in blogging and social media managing. I have worked with a variety of content management systems and am a fast learner and confident user of all software.
